There is a lot that needs to be in place during the final frantic weeks before the Oslo Marathon. Having a supplier you can rely on is worth its weight in gold, says general manager Cecilie L\u2019Orsa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BMW Oslo Marathon is the country's largest road race, and for over 40 years it has been a true celebration for runners, spectators and the city of Oslo. A comprehensive apparatus must be set in motion to ensure that the event is a great experience for the close on 20,000 runners who line up at the start every year. The route starts and finishes at City Hall Square, which on race day itself is \u00abcoloured\u00bb with materials produced by CopyCat \u2013 including the finish line arch, barrier banners, beach flags, posters and various signs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 This year they also made a huge name wall, where the names of all the participants were printed in alphabetical order. It was super stylish and very popular, says Cecilie L\u2019Orsa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CopyCat also assists Oslo Marathon<\/a> with printed matter throughout the year \u2013 for example when they need to notify residents in the area surrounding the trail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Ahead of the event, we are sending out 70,000 A4 sheets of information. After all, we are cordially cordoning off almost the entire city, so it is important to make residents aware that they need to take some extra precautions on this day, L'Orsa says.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list of everything that needs to be in place ahead of an event like the Oslo Marathon is long \u2013 and there is a lot that needs to be sorted out at the last minute, says the general manager. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
