Imagine eating your lunch in the atmosphere of a picnic in a flowery meadow, with the finest ingredients from Norwegian soil. That is precisely what they want to achieve at Ekre canteen at Lysaker. We have printed images and wallpaper that fit the food concept they have built up completely. The chefs at Ekre canteen create dishes based on seasonal ingredients, and they are happy to share the recipes with customers. Down-to-earth, sustainable, and inspiring!
Acre means “a former field that gradually transforms into a lush meadow that can be used as a grazing area…” And this is precisely what they wanted to reflect on the canteen walls. We were given the task of refreshing the space with inviting wallpaper, pictures and lighting. Everything was installed by our fantastic team of fitters. It turned out atmospheric and stunningly gorgeous!
Stylish logo
Ekre canteen's logo is modern and great, it looked very nice on our Ibond aluminium composite panels. This is a very light and thin panel with concealed corner fixings on the back. The pictures are also printed on this material, which creates a clean and harmonious style in the canteen.
EasyDot is super easy!
Would you like to wallpaper the wall, but want to avoid sticky, messy glue? That is precisely what we did in this canteen. EasyDot wallpaper is a self-adhesive film, with an adhesive distributed as small dots or spots. The adhesive makes the film easy to install, and just as easy to remove! Brilliant if you want to update your walls in a quick and efficient way. With this solution, you also won't be bothered by bubbles in the wallpaper, and the gentle adhesive won't damage the surface underneath. If you don't want to install it yourself, we have fitters who would be happy to do the job for you.
LED strip light
At the top of the coffee bar, we installed a track with LED lights featuring smoked prismatic glass. This creates a subdued presence in the dark alcove, whilst also highlighting the wallpaper in the best possible way. This is an atmospheric and inviting area for a pleasant chat with colleagues while you wait for freshly brewed coffee.
